Ras can profess to have put out 3 projects and 3 music videos shot with a minimum budget – one at a majestic location of Mozambique’s white sand beaches, and 2 in his adopted hometown Pretoria. These videos have made it on internationally renowned music shows: MTV Base, Channel O and SABC 1’s Music Lounge. He has also had the opportunity to be a studio guest on Hip Hop television shows Shiz Nizz and on Channel O’s Head Rush, and boasts several appearances on South Africa’s first Hip-Hop magazine for both an editorial feature and on the magazine’s official compilation CD. He was also voted by Hype Magazine as one of the top 5 best-unsigned artists in South Africa. His music has not taken a back seat on the radio scene, as he can also boast rotations on Metro FM’s Rhyme and Reason and The Bridge on Yfm, along with numerous campus radio stations across the country.

In 2010 Ras released a project, earning him an overall Hype Magazine rating of 4 out of 5 stars. The project further increased his buzz nationwide, allowing him to preform away from home, therefore increasing his following.

Between 2012 and 2013, Ras released two songs – “Everything I do” and “Nzela Monene” in the hopes to further solidify his reputation in the hip-hop scene. The two songs were well received by radio stations and shows such as Sizwe’s Hot 99 and DJ Sabby’s Live and rewire on Yfm, DJ C-Live’s Hip- Hop Power Night on 5fm’s, Vow fm, Bush fm, Capricorn fm, Eldo fm, Kovsie fm, Lentswe fm, Mdantsane fm, Motheo fm, Mungana Lonene fm, Naledi fm, NWU Radio, Planet Radio, Radio Turf, Rhodes Music Radio, Tru fm, Tshwane fm and UCT Radio.

Striving to push boundaries, Ras has also performs with his band on DJ Sabby’s Live and rewire show on Yfm. In doing so, Ras and his band were selected to come back for a 3 hour live interview on Yfm and featured on the top 10 best bands of Sabby’s Live and rewire show . Ras and his band also perform several times at StageNights Events at The States Theatre in Pretoria.
