Known in the Capital City as Lebanzi la Pitori, Bugzito is spirited and driven enough to be one of the country’s best hip hop performers. It was his single Feel daai Groovas that earned him recognition in Pretoria leading to the release of his first EP Goca The Openara in 2011.

Since then, Bugzito has enjoyed airplay on numerous local and regional radio stations nationwide as well as Lesotho’s PC Fm. has shared stages with N’veigh, Blaklez, PdotO, Molemi, Driemanskap and Khanyi Mavi to name a few.
For 3 years in a row, he was well received by audiences from different walks of life at the National Arts Festival which is annually held in Grahamstown. In 2013 Bugzito was among those who initiated the Door2Door tour alongside Sprite Uncontainable challenge winner for 2014, Lolli. This lead to performances in numerous places outside of Gauteng, as a result he was nominated as best performer for the Spaza Awards hosted by Hip Hop Kaslam in Cape Town.

In 2015 Bugzito hosted Maybe In July, which was hosted in his hometown of Danville in Pretoria West and proved to be a success. The name of the event was inspired by one of his singles, Maybe (which features Tumi Modise and is taken from his then forthcoming project, Identity Crisis) and July being Bugzito’s birth month.

Bugzito’s style of music is unique yet relevant in today’s South African society. He keeps his lyrics true to observations in his background and society. His vast interest in South Africa’s dynamic cultures makes him a true storyteller of the South African struggle and triumph. His music is not diluted by the ever changing trends but mostly influenced by the positive energy and inspirational mind of the ordinary man. This makes him the life and soul of any party, the beat of any heart.

This Sprakathi Rap musician currently has an independent album out titled Identity Crisis. The sales and response have been very positive and they keep growing with each day. Maybe featuring is the the current single Features in the album include the likes of, PdotO, Zimkitha Soul, Spaza Rap veteran Rattex, Boy Peza and Chaka Dolla to name a few.

Bugzito may be Lebanzi la Pitori, however every step that this music pioneer takes is a step closer to becoming one the country’s most legendary acts this world has ever seen. When all is said and done, it is best to be part of the Bugzito Evolution.
